QH Needle Therapy is innovated by Dr. Chen Zhenhu, an acupuncturist  working in the Department of Acupuncture and Moxibustion of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese medicine. His 20 years of clinical acupuncture experience laid the foundation for this innovation. Chapter Seven of The Spiritual Pivot (Ling Shu) says: “ The nine kinds of needles have different usages. They are either long, or short, or large, or small, and used for different purposes. ” QH Needle enjoys advantages of various needles and involves techniques of “Shu Ci”, and “Hegu Ci” from five needling methods mentioned in The Spiritual Pivot (Ling Shu). The significant effect rate for 20000 clinical cases in recent 5 years was up to 70%.
