Jin’s three-needle therapy was developed by Jin Rui, a chief professor from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, who practiced acupuncture for over 50 years and carefully studied clinical experience of famous acupuncturists.

Our department (Department of acupuncture and moxibustion) selected and studied points for stroke and its sequelae combining traditional body acupuncture with the currently widely used system of Jin’s three-needle therapy such as three temporal points, three tongue points, three points for intelligence and four points for brain diseases. We have improved the system of Jin’s three-needle therapy through the multicenter, largesample, randomized controlled studies.
