LU10 (Yuji)

Point location

With the palm open and facing up, LU-10 (Yuji) can be found at the thenar surface of the first metacarpus and on the themar eminence of the hand.

CV 17 (Danzhong)

Point location

CV 17 (Danzhong), located on the midline of the body, isparallel with the fourth intercostal space. For man, the point is also parallel with the connecting line ofthe two nipples. 

Methods

Quickly wipe CV 17 (Danzhong) with LU10 (Yuji) up and down till a slightly hot sensation is produced.

Actions

It has actions of supplementing lung qi and immunoregulation.

Rapping (the chest)

Rapping the point by the fingertips with five fingers together. Rapping the chest along three horizontal lines from the interior to the exterior.
